Horse Riding Camps
The Polish YMCA’s popular horse-riding camp takes place annually in the May/June half-term week.
Recent camps have been in Moszna, Poland. The renowned stud farm is in magical surroundings: meadows, forests, with a mini zoo & even its own castle! Campers are immersed in all aspects of horse-riding and care: receiving two riding sessions a day. From complete beginners to advanced, a week in the stud improves confidence and riding skills. Evenings are typically spent gathering around a campfire, singing or tucking into a BBQ sausage or two!
Although smaller than our summer camps, the ethos underpinning the group is the same. Lifelong friendships are forged whilst having fun! There is a sense of belonging, of contributing, of thriving.
