Summer camps
Summer Camps are an integral part of the Polish YMCA organisation. Taking place annually in August, camps have been hosted all across Europe including: Poland, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
Primarily run as sports camps, activities have ranged from classic Polish scout games such as 'Dwa Ognie' (Dodgeball), to hike challenges, assault courses and water-sports such as kayaking and swimming. Although the element of competition and team spirit is ever-present in our day-to-day activities, various tournaments and the prestigious 'Olimpiada' event, we ensure the sense of achievement and belonging in simply participating is not over-shadowed. The days typically draw to a close with night games or socials around the campfire.
